It took a nerve of iron to take on the student this day. I feel like being Arnold Swatznegger in Kintergarden Cop though the student I'm talk about is a university student. I had 5 work training at my custody at the moment. They learn the same stuff as an old engineer like me do or even more. But come to apply the knowledge, total horrified terrified and stupified.
Most important think they should know at the moment they are work trainee, they are representative to the university, college, dojo or what so ever. It is their responsibility to be prepared and exhibit their talent by completing the task. Now I had to start teaching from basic like why we learn and how to apply knowledge in fluid dynamic, heat - mass transfer , thermodynamic and chemical kinetic. They being teach in varsity cuz there're reason, am I right!? Not really understand what the lecture these day do. How could I trust their grade when recruit new work force. I would be glad to teach if I had time but now I'm at the edge of dead line and all help my company could provide is this? For flying spaghetti monster sake, I can't see my retirement.
